Many domestic factories still rely on legacy methods, resulting in inconsistent grain structures that cannot withstand the cyclic loading of modern boilers and furnaces common in the textile and garment processing plants of Dhaka.
Furthermore, the rise of infrastructure projects has highlighted the need for specialized wear-resistant components. The lack of localized, high-standard ar400 steel heat treatment facilities means that most high-strength, heat-treated parts are imported, increasing lead times and operational costs for local construction and mining equipment operators.
